James Llaqui, CMO

James Llaqui serves as the Chief Marketing Officer for American Prime Healthcare, where he is dedicated to building meaningful relationships with healthcare providers, community partners, patients, and families throughout Northern California. With extensive experience in healthcare marketing, James has worked closely with physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, and case management teams to improve access to compassionate, patient-centered care.

A proud United States Marine Corps veteran, James served honorably for eight years with Air Naval Gunfire Liaison Company (ANGLICO), where he served as a Team Chief within a Special Operations Capable (SOC) unit. In this leadership role, he led Marines in demanding, mission-focused environments that required decisive leadership, precision, accountability, and unwavering commitment to those alongside him. The principles forged during his military service continue to shape his leadership philosophy and his dedication to serving patients, families, healthcare partners, and the community.

Beyond his professional responsibilities, James is deeply committed to supporting fellow veterans. Throughout his healthcare career, he has established veteran support groups within the healthcare community, creating safe and welcoming spaces where veterans can come together, share their stories, and support one another through the unique challenges they face. He also volunteers his time helping veterans navigate the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), connecting them with the healthcare services, benefits, and resources they have earned through their service.
